Sunrise Off-Grid 2010

Food & Drink

Food & Drink

Sunrise events always aim for a 80%+ site-wide organic food and drinks policy. That means that the majority of the food and even alcohol you buy on site is organically sourced. There will be a range of produce available including Vegan, Vegetarian and Meat options.

Cafes at Off-Grid include:-

Chai Chapel:- Luscious Chai, Coffee and other drinking fair as well as a deeply committed community business, dedicated to enriching the world with their offerings. Chai Chapel provides all day drumming circles and workshops and create a vibrant festival space!

Mr Tea's (A spin-off of the beautiful Tiny Tea Tent):- Run on fire, wind and sun. Specialising in fair trade drinks, good music and dancing on the tables! A funky, rustic space to chill in.

Buddhafield:- Famous vegan fayre from the Buddhafield Cafe. Great food, good atmosphere, plenty of room to sit, eat and talk. Lovely.

Floating Lotus:- Solar Cinema and Full-Food Cafe, serving meat, veg and all sorts of delights.

Pacha Mamas:- Inspiringly beautiful Tipi Cafe, with a great fireside vibe, hot drinks, crepes and cakes, amongst other things...

Harvest Cafe:- Serving vegetarian fayre from a vintage Citreon van. Cash raised goes to Ecoworks community gardens.

We also hope to organise food-sharing circles for those with less fluid abundance. Tinkers Bubble will have a stall selling fresh veg, cider and other supplies.

The Sunrise Bar will stock primarily organic alcohol, from our select suppliers including Vintage Roots and Freedom Lager. Some of our ales will be sourced from a solar-powered brewery in Wiltshire. We will also stock our delicious Sunrise Ale - Ra! More on this to follow...
