Since their formation Los Albertos have been creating a frenzy upon the dance floors and grassy fields of Europe with their inimitable foot-stompin', brass-blarin', and rip snortin' high energy blend of ska, punk, funk, dub and original beats. Drawing upon a peculiarly twisted English humour (where The Comic Strip meets League of Gentlemen) this six-piece throw in some dynamite horn, guitar and drum action and invariably you end up with a band firing on all cylinders. It's dance music, Jim, but not as we know it…"A band to make you smile and keep you bouncing all night long, this is original happy ska with a sound something akin to The Specials, with a modern-day flavour" - BBC Southern Counties

Nila Raja"Nila's fluid voice and compositional ambition absorb a range of influences from Arabic folk and jazz traditions to contemporary chillout and Indian classical flavours. Always surprising and restless by nature, Nila's work is endlessly inventive and can shift seamlessly between genres and cultural traditions with an individuality devoid of fear or contrivance. "Wandering leaf" is at times reminiscent of Joni Mitchell or Led Zeppelin (check "Battle of Evermore") where the title track "Unattached to Desire" is forged from the technical drive of a fledgling Shakti. Through a voice overflowing with nimble agility, wistful innocence and grace, Nila's debut weaves a very appealing spell. Inspired." NITIN SAWHNEY |

Ten Ton Tongue10 Ton Tongue put on one high-output performance, which has been described variously as 'Neo Victorian Forest Grunge' and a 'Gothic folk circus with boots on...' The music is a theatrical rampage. Ridiculously dextrous guitar work, steeped in migrating flamenco and suffering blues, is backed with heavy riddling rhythms and fronted with intense 10 Ton Tongue-twisting lyrics. Think Rodrigo y Gabriela meeting System of a Down, delivered with a kiss on the cheek. It is a dizzying performance that leaves you nowhere to hide. |

Dan ArboriseDescribed as "John Martyn meets Nick Drake for the 21st century"- The Fly , Dan Arborise juggles evocative songs and never-ending multi-layered acoustic guitar instrumentals, whilst wandering from sea cliff to deep valley… His atmospheric debut album 'Around in Circles' was released in 2006 on Just Music to great acclaim. Live, Dan's tender and haunting voice is the perfect match for his intense, emotive and rhythmic guitar-picking. Expect unusual open tunings, songs that develop into tunes, and tunes that grow into songs, and a beautiful guitar sound that is transformed but never compromised by some amazing electronic guitar effects. |

Tim HallTim is one of Glastonbury's Bards, having held the Bardic Chair of Ynys Witrin (Glastonbury) from 2005 to 2007. His music is a magical melting-pot of UK Festival Psychedelia and British Folk, woven in with traditional vocal harmonies, left-field jazz-folk, speed funk and heads down, no nonsense mindful space boogie. Tim's lyrics betray a beautiful intelligence, a mixture of deep emotional, intuitive, other-dimensional and mental understanding and tenderness melded together with the power to reach in and move anyone and enchantingly transport them to another plane. He is best known for his work with bardic folk band Silver on the Tree and founding the Avalonian Free State Choir as part of his vision to perform restored pagan carols. |
