Directions to Off-Grid

The Off Grid site is at Stumps Cross, Ridge Road, Shepton Mallet

It is 1 mile from Shepton Mallet town centre in Somerset (and 9 miles from Glastonbury).

The postcode for Sat Nav is BA4 4PF. This will take you to Knowle Lane which adjoins Ridge Road at its end. Head away from Shepton Mallet towards West Compton.

Directions:

From Bristol/Bath/Frome/North:- Take the A37 South towards Yeovil. Turn off onto the A361 towards Glastonbury and Pilton. After 1.5 miles turn right on to the B3136 towards Shepton Mallet. At the crossroads at the top of the hill, turn left towards West Compton. This is Ridge Lane which becomes Ridge Road. Site is on right after 1 mile.

From the A303 (South West/London/South East):- Take the A37 South towards Yeovil. Turn off onto the A361 towards Glastonbury and Pilton. After 1.5 miles turn right on to the B3136 towards Shepton Mallet. At the crossroads at the top of the hill, turn left towards West Compton. This is Ridge Lane which becomes Ridge Road. Site is on right after 1 mile.

There will be a regular minibus service from Glastonbury Abbey Car Park and Shepton Mallet Tesco's car park to the site on Thursday 20th August, and then back again on Monday 24th August. There will be a small charge of £3 each way.

Off-Grid by Coach or Bus:

National Express runs daily buses to Glastonbury, however, a more regular option is to get a bus or train to Bristol and then a local bus (365/366) to Glastonbury.

The First Bus service 161 and 162 runs between Wells and Frome with Shepton Mallet in the middle, the timetable is here www.firstgroup.com/ukbus/timetables_xhtml/timetable_pdf.php. It's a fast bus and apparently reasonably priced.

Off-Grid by Train, then bus:

The nearest train stations to Shepton Mallet are at Yeovil or Castle Cary.

South West Coaches have a fairly regular coach service from Yeovil and Castle Cary to Shepton Mallet www.southwestcoaches.co.uk or phone 01963 33124.
