We know its all about the kids and we want to bring out the festival pixie in all of them and you included, all the more possible when little pixies are having an amazing time in safe hands.

So, we are hosting a space full of fun activities that encourage participation and creativity featuring small kids playground, traditional fairground rides, den-making, storytelling, recycled science, spectacular out door giant games, workshops for toddlers, kids and teens, performance and many a giggle.

The highlight of the Kids Area at Off Grid is our Kids Tribe Adventure, aimed at kids from 5-15, which is a chance for the kids to explore tribal ritual, tradition, & dress, to make their own rules and found their own society - All overseen by skilled adults.

THE KIDS TRIBAL ADVENTURE

Whipping the kids up into three days of discovery, adventure and imagination, the Kids Tribal Adventure will run throughout the weekend with a variety of activities ranging across the site and through the active minds of Off-Grid's young voyagers. The adventure will explore tribal ritual, tradition and dress, as kids make their own rules and found their own society. Each day will be different with different flavors and activities for the kids to enjoy.

Day 1: Is the day of Stories, where the tribes will be founded, their myths and legends made and shared and the foundations of their tribes put in place.

Day 2: Is the day of Discovery with treasure hunts, nature identification, archaeology, construction and more.

Day 3: Is the day of Challenge with first the making of the armor for the warriors, the painting of faces and the preparations. Then in the afternoon the challenges begin - from Archery to obstacle courses - whilst those that stay at home prepare potions and healing salves for the brave challengers.

Day 4: Is the day of Celebration. After the challenges of the days before, the day of Celebration sees the tribes regathering at their homes, making songs and stories of their feats, preparing food and rehearsing for the great procession of the tribes. A day of unity and celebration!

FOREST SCHOOL
Forest School is a place for kids to learn and grow, exploring nature's bounty, gathering basic outdoor skills and delving into their imaginations. Forest School activities range from naturally inspired arts n crafts to basic bushcraft skills. At Fernhill Farm, the Forest School Team will be looking after an incredible play canyon where kids imaginations can soar and create at will.

late club TRADITIONAL FAIR
The Traditional Fair will give the kids a chance to play happily whilst the adults relax for a bit. The fair includes hand-powered chairplanes, a coconut shy, swingboats and even a skittles alley for the adults!

ELECTRONICS FOR KIDS
The Campaign for Real Events will be bringing a whole range of electronics fun to the festival with their kid-friendly space. There will be 6 pedal-generators in operation plus child-friendly small wind and solar energy demonstrations. All energy generated is used for fun applications like bubble machines, Nintendo Games, inflatable binliner monsters, music and more....
